Do you have a passion for empowering developers and fostering vibrant communities? Join Metaschool in a pivotal role where you'll shape our connection with developers across the Asia Pacific region. As a catalyst for building relationships and driving community engagement, you'll be at the forefront of nurturing the decentralized internet pioneers.
At Metaschool, our mission revolves around empowering developers, and this role is essential in ensuring our commitment to their needs. As our Developer Relations & Community Specialist for the Asia Pacific region, you'll not only lead community partnerships but also cultivate and foster relationships with developers. Your work will play a vital role in making Metaschool a central hub for aspiring decentralized internet trailblazers.
Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement: Identify, partner with, and onboard developers through diverse offline and online communities across the Asia Pacific region. Organize activities that keep them actively engaged.
- Event Collaboration: Collaborate on offline and online events, inviting developers from the region to collaborate and contribute to partner projects.
- Knowledge Sharing: Curate live sessions via platforms like Zoom or other suitable platforms, educating developers about the world of web3.
- Content Creation: Create engaging content related to web3 and blockchain, fostering discussions and learning on our social channels.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with developer communities, individuals, and organizations interested in web3 training.
- Qualitative & Quantitative Success: Drive success through measurable outcomes, aligning with KPIs and focusing on community growth.
Requirements:
- Developer Passion: You may not be a developer on paper, but you understand the developer mindset and their needs.
- Web3 & Decentralization Enthusiasm: Deep understanding of the web3 landscape and its decentralized concepts.
- Community Advocate: Passion for community building, possibly with an existing following within the developer ecosystem.
- KPI-Driven: Ability to achieve goals quantitatively and contribute to strategic success.
- Experience: Over 3 years in a similar role, with at least 1 year in the web3 space.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English and other languages relevant to the Asia Pacific region.
- Content & Social Media: Proficiency in content creation and effective social media strategies.
- Collaborative Spirit: Collaborate with engineering and growth teams to enhance customer experiences.
- Startup Enthusiasm: Thrive in a startup environment, embracing innovation and agility.
